Abeka Christian Preschool Curriculum At A Glance

Love of Learning

The Abeka preschool curriculum turns play time into learning time, laying a strong academic foundation that prepares each child for the next level of their educational journey.

Biblical Worldview

Not only is there a preschool Bible curriculum as part of the Abeka program, our entire program has been developed from a Christian worldview, planting seeds of faith in children all through the year.

Age Appropriate

Abeka is an age appropriate curriculum for preschool that takes into consideration the differences in motor skills and cognitive abilities among preschoolers. With Abeka, they’ll experience early success at realistic learning milestones.

Engaging and Fun

Any early childhood education program should recognize that preschoolers yearn for hands-on activities. The Abeka preschool curriculum fosters preschool learning with colorful, durable resources that invite lots of child involvement.

Easy to Use

Abeka’s preschool curriculum kits include plenty of guidance and direction for teachers. In fact, our preschool lesson plans are designed to help even first-time teachers succeed in the classroom.

Developmental milestones refer to the skills that children achieve as they learn, play, speak, act, and move. These include taking their first steps, smiling for the first time, and waving goodbye.

ABCJesusLovesMe | Facebook

ABCJesusLovesMe™ is an educational ministry that provides adults with the necessary materials to educate children in an intentional manner. The ministry offers five research-based curricula for children aged 1-5, which focus on academics, development, and Bible learning through play. Along with the core curricula, ABCJesusLovesMe also offers a Bible curriculum, unit studies, digital downloads, and the Be Intentional Planner. While these materials are sufficient on their own, the ministry's main goal is to provide guidance, support, training, and direction to help parents, preschool teachers, and church educators successfully educate children.

Goals and Objectives

We strive to assist every child in achieving growth and excellence in a Christian setting. This is done by developing language skills, exposing them to new information, and encouraging problem-solving that applies to our curriculum.

Our goals are:

- To provide appropriate and meaningful Preschool and Daycare programs for preschool-aged children.

- To help each child develop a positive self-image, love others, feel accomplished, take pride in themselves, and recognize their strengths and weaknesses.

- To help children learn to work and live harmoniously with their peers, recognize and respect everyone's uniqueness, and differences.

- To foster attitudes and skills that will benefit their future development.

- To create a nurturing and secure environment where children feel valued and respected.

- To provide opportunities for each child to develop physically, mentally, socially, emotionally, and spiritually to their fullest potential.

The Preschool and Daycare program is a ministry of Village Baptist Church, and we aim to create an atmosphere that cultivates early spiritual growth and development. Our program is based on Christian values, and the Bible is used as a source for stories, scripture memorization, songs, daily living, and preschool conduct.
